Jamie Baker...

    is a singer/songwriter, born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. Growing up in a city with such deep musical roots, Baker’s style has been forged by the legendary styles of Rock, Pop, Americana, Yacht Rock, and Soul. These influences shine in every song performed, as evidenced by his successful career as a vocalist and entertainer.

   His heart and passion for singing songs that excite people of all ages continues to be one of the defining factors for him as an artist. Early in life, Baker honed his skills by singing with duos, trios, and ensembles. He was soon coordinating and assembling various groups throughout the area. His talent for arranging vocal harmonies not only served to strengthen his ability to interact with other musicians on stage, but it also bolstered his confidence when he was ready to step out as a solo artist.

  Writing and recording his own studio projects with top-level industry engineers and producers has led to several CD releases.  He has also sung on numerous commercial jingles, which has allowed his voice to be heard on radio from coast to coast. Baker continues to perform throughout the region with bands, vocal groups, and also as a solo acoustic performer.  He learned early on that incorporating the music of popular artists into his shows was a key component to winning over crowds, and he quickly became known for his precise versions of all genres from the 70’s through current Top 40 hits that audiences love to hear.
